2022 Assembly Election Manifesto

In May 2022 Sustainable Northern Ireland launched a manifesto for the Northern Ireland Assembly Elections.

In the short document we highlighted five key issues that must be addressed to put the economy on a more sustainable footing whilst simultaneously tackling the climate emergency:

  1. Greener government
  2. Better planning for the green economy
  3. End support for fossil fuels
  4. Sustainable transport infrastructure
  5. Community energy
