Our Story

Since our launch in 1998, Sustainable Northern Ireland has evolved significantly but our mission has remained the same: to build a sustainable future for us and our planet.

211014 FODC Launch 16

For more than 25 years we've been helping to deliver transformational change by embedding sustainability across the public, private and third sectors, making a positive difference to people's lives whilst helping to protect the planet.

In that time the social and political landscape has evolved, with the climate and nature crisis becoming a widespread concern. We've stayed ahead of the curve, bringing clear, holistic thinking to help decision makers meet these challenges head on.
